Shipping Policy - Quick Summary: Wholesale B2B E-commerce

 

  • Shipping Rates: vary by package weight, dimensions, destination, service level, and surcharges.

 

  • Minimum shipping fee: $8.99 per order (applies to all orders; see §3).

 

  • Order Processing time: typically 1–3 business days from order acceptance/payment clearance (see §2).

 

  • Carriers & services: Ground is default; expedited and LTL/pallet available on request/when required (see §4).

 

  • Damage/shortage claims: Notify us within 5 business days for visible issues; 10 business days for concealed (§8).

 

  • Title & risk: Pass to you when we hand off to the carrier (FOB Origin / Prepaid & Add) (§7).

 

  • Restricted destinations: We may decline/cancel shipments where laws restrict hemp‑derived products (§9).

 

  • Coverage: We primarily ship to commercial addresses in the United States. Shipments to residential addresses are allowed but may incur residential surcharges.

 

  • P.O. Boxes: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Provide a physical street address.

 

  • Multiple locations: You may ship a single order to multiple Ship‑To addresses by using separate orders at checkout (each order will incur its own shipping charges and the $8.99 minimum fee).

 


 

Order Processing & Cut‑Offs

Processing window. Orders generally process within 1–3 business days after (a) order acceptance and (b) payment clearance or credit release.


Cut‑off for same‑day attempts. Orders accepted by 12:00 PM Central Time may ship on the same business day when stock and carrier pick‑ups allow; otherwise, on the next business day. Same‑day is not guaranteed.


Peak periods. During peak seasons, promotions, or severe weather, processing may extend beyond standard windows. We’ll prioritize FIFO and order integrity.

 


Shipping Rates, Minimum Fee & How We Calculate

No free shipping. Wholesale orders do not qualify for free shipping.


Minimum shipping fee. A minimum shipping fee of $8.99 is assigned to every order, regardless of destination or service level.


Rate calculation. Your shipping charge is based on actual or dimensional weight (whichever is greater), destination zone, number of cartons, and carrier surcharges (fuel, residential, extended area, signature, etc.).


Quotes vs. actuals. Rates shown at checkout are estimates for parcel shipments. LTL/freight may require a manual quote or post‑order adjustment (we will confirm before release).


Split shipments. If you request us to split an order after it is placed, each additional shipment will incur its own carrier charge and the $8.99 minimum fee (because each becomes a separate shipment).


Third‑party billing / Collect. If you prefer to bill freight to your carrier account, contact wholesale@Kannaco.co before checkout. The $8.99 minimum shipping/handling fee still applies to cover pick/pack and documentation, and you are responsible for all carrier charges, fees, and claims when shipping collect.

 

Methods, Carriers & Service Levels

Default service. Ground (commercial) is the default for most orders.


Expedited. 2‑Day and Next‑Day air services are available on request; cut‑offs and Saturday delivery vary by carrier and are not guaranteed.


LTL / Palletized. Large orders may ship LTL. Please ensure:

  • Accurate receiving hours and a staffed dock;
  • Whether liftgate, inside delivery, or appointment is required (fees may apply);
  • Any limited‑access location details (e.g., schools, clinics, storage facilities).
    4.4 Carrier selection. We select the carrier/service to meet cost, speed, and product integrity; specific carrier requests may be accommodated when feasible.

 

Address Accuracy, Delivery & Surcharges

Address validation. Ensure your Ship‑To address is complete and accurate (company name, suite, receiving hours). Carrier address correction fees and re‑delivery charges are your responsibility.


Residential/limited access. Carriers may assess residential, limited‑access, liftgate, inside delivery, appointment, or redelivery fees. Such surcharges are the customer’s responsibility.


Signature / age‑verification. Certain products, destinations, or orders may require Adult Signature (21+) at delivery or age verification under applicable laws. Associated fees are billable to the customer.


Refused/undeliverable shipments. If a shipment is refused or undeliverable due to incorrect/incomplete address or inability to receive, return shipping and any carrier fees are your responsibility. A restocking fee (10%–20%) may apply if goods are returned to stock (see Returns/RMA policy).

 

Partial Shipments, Backorders & Multi‑Warehouse Fulfillment

Ship complete vs. partial. Our default is to ship complete when all items are available. At your request, we can ship partials; each shipment will incur its own shipping charge and $8.99 minimum.


Backorders. For backordered items, we will (a) hold to ship complete, (b) ship available items now and backorders later (additional shipping charges apply), or (c) cancel backordered lines at your request.


Multi‑warehouse. We may fulfill from more than one warehouse for availability or transit time; each origin may generate a separate tracking number and shipping charge.

 

Title, Risk of Loss & Ownership

FOB Origin / Prepaid & Add. Title and risk of loss transfer to you when we tender goods to the carrier at the shipping origin (UCC FOB Origin).


Inspection at delivery. Please inspect cartons at delivery. Note any visible damage or shortages on the carrier’s delivery receipt and keep packaging for inspection.

 

Damages, Shortages, and Lost‑in‑Transit Claims

Report timelines.

Visible damage/shortage: Notify wholesale@Kannaco.co within 5 business days of delivery.

Concealed damage/defect: Notify within 10 business days of delivery.

Lost‑in‑transit: If tracking shows no movement for 7 calendar days beyond the expected delivery, contact us for a trace/claim.

What to include: Order number, photos of the outer carton (all sides), inner packing, damaged items, packing slip, and the carrier’s delivery receipt with notations (for visible damage).


Keep packaging: Retain all packaging until the claim is resolved; carriers may require inspection.


Remedies: Upon a validated claim, Kannaco LLC may repair, replace, or credit at our discretion (see Terms of Service).


Carrier timelines: Claims must be filed within carrier deadlines. Late notifications may limit our ability to assist.

 


 

Compliance, Restricted Items & Destinations

 

Regulatory checks. Some products or destinations may be restricted by federal, state, or local law (e.g., age gating, ingredient restrictions). We may decline or cancel orders to restricted destinations or hold shipments pending compliance review.


Your obligations. You are responsible for ensuring that your shipping destination and resale practices comply with applicable laws and that you maintain any required licenses/permits.

 

Special Services & Fees (When Applicable)

  • Liftgate, inside delivery, appointment (LTL)
  • Adult signature / age‑verification
  • Address correction / reconsignment / redelivery
  • Limited access / residential surcharges
  • Saturday delivery (parcel/air)
    All such fees are pass‑through charges from the carrier and billable to you in addition to the base freight. The $8.99 minimum fee still applies.

 

International & U.S. Territories

International: The Wholesale Website currently does not support international shipping. For export inquiries, contact: wholesale@kannaco.co


Alaska, Hawaii & Territories. Shipments to AK/HI or U.S. territories may require air service; transit times and surcharges will vary and are quoted at checkout or by manual quote.

 

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, carrier network disruptions, labor shortages, natural disasters, regulatory holds). We will resume performance as soon as practicable.

 

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Wholesale Website with an updated Effective Date.
